This has been the most enjoyable section to put together. I had planned on adding a small section of stories and photos at the back of the book. I wanted to know about the lives of the people listed in the book, and where possible to add photos of them, and of places they lived and worked.

It has had a great impact on me, reading the stories of the people who came before us, looking at their photos and trying to imagine what their lives were like. Their hopes and dreams, their successes and failures. I sincerely hope this section can be expanded greatly in the next few years, before the oral and photographic history disappears or is mislaid.

Much work has gone into the assembling of information about our family. Earl W Godt II, Darlene Christian Godt, John Grover Godt, Henry C. Godt JR., Dorothy Kraak Duborg, Peter Karl Godt, Mogens Godt, Carsten Godt and many others have spent countless hours, days and years trying to preserve the collective history of our family.
